Reuters - The world's biggest film festival kicks off in Cannes on Wednesday, bringing Hollywood A-listers, obscure arthouse directors, international media and fans together for 12 party-packed days on the French Riviera.

AP - Rounding up a lot of the usual suspects, the Cannes Film Festival presents a lineup from an illustrious if somewhat predictable gang of regulars, including Clint Eastwood, Steven Soderbergh, Woody Allen, Atom Egoyan and Wim Wenders.

E! Online - Well this gives the term promotional tie-in a whole new meaning.

E! Online - "When I first met Demi, I was 25 years old, hosting Saturday Night Live, on the cover of Rolling Stone and had the number one show on cable TV and the top show on Fox. E! Online - The other day, you talked about how much celebrities charge just to show up at a club. But what about charity fundraisers? Stars have to appear for free then, right?

AP - When he started "America's Most Wanted," John Walsh could point to at least one thing in its favor: Society's swampland of bad people doing bad things would never run dry. On that basis, the show seems a cinch to run forever.

AP - ESPN will add Hannah Storm to its "SportsCenter" lineup in August when it will supplant nine hours of taped programming in favor of live sports news.
