The Club World Cup 2019 will involve seven teams.
Rayados de Monterrey as the representative of CONCACAF, Liverpool as representative of UEFA, Flamengo as representative of CONMEBOL, Al-Hilal as representative of Asia, Esperance of Tunisia as representative of Africa, Hienghene Sport of Oceania and Al-Sadd of Qatar.
If Rayados manages to overcome the Quarterfinals of the 2019 Club World Cup, Liverpool would be measured in the semifinals.
On the other side, Flamengo is waiting for the winner of the clash between Al-Hilal and Esperance of Tunisia, to seek to get into the grand final.
A CONCACAF representative has never been champion. As representatives of South America, Corinthians was the last to be crowned in 2012, while for England, Manchester United did it last in 2008.
The 2019 Club World Cup will be the opportunity to see a new champion, since since 2014, only the Spanish teams have lifted the title.
