Alex Header, of the Korn tribute band, fainted right at the moment the song they were playing was over.
The musician, 28, said he had felt that half of his body had been paralyzed and that he could not see well through his left eye in the middle of the presentation at the Rockstock Festival in Stockport, Greater Manchester.
But those symptoms were not an impediment for him to stop “I did not want to stop the song because it was too soon,” he said, although he also confessed that he thought he was suffering an episode related to low blood sugar.
“Not in a million years would I have thought that I was suffering from a stroke,” he told the Daily Mail, half of which posted the video in which he is seen collapsing at the end of the song.
After the incident he spent a week under medical observation and returned home. He must still recover if he wants to step on a stage again. Meanwhile, the Korn Again band is looking for someone to give them a hand on the drums to fulfill their performance commitments.
