Iran Secures a “Hard Revenge” After the Death of Soleimani

Teheran will act.

After the death of Iranian General Qasem Soleimani – caused by a bombardment led by the US military – Ayatollah Ali Khamenei (top authority of Iran) said that those guilty of the murder of Soleimani should expect a “hard revenge.”

“His death (Qasem Soleimani) will not stop his mission, but criminals who have stained their hands with the blood of General Soleimani and other martyrs must expect a hard revenge,” Ali Jamenei said in a statement.

“Friends and enemies know that resistance jihad will continue with more motivation and that the final victory awaits combatants in this blessed path,” he added.

On the other hand, the Pentagon claimed that Qasem sought to carry out an attack against them in Iraq.

“Soleimani was actively developing plans to attack US diplomats and service members in Iraq and throughout the region,” they said in a letter to the press.

This last Tuesday, the president of the United States Donald Trump intimidated Iran with strong statements – from his social networks – after a group of pro-Iranian protesters attacked the US embassy in Baghdad.

“Iran will be fully responsible for lost lives or damages suffered in any of our facilities,” said the US president in his Twitter account.

In addition, he added that Tehran will be solely responsible for what may happen even if it has to pay a “high price.”

“They will pay a high price! This is not a warning, it is a threat,” Trump stressed.

President of the United States, Donald Trump, ordered to “kill” the commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Qasem Soleimani, who died in an attack in Baghdad, the Pentagon said Thursday night.

“By order of the president, the US military has taken decisive defensive measures to protect US personnel abroad by killing Qasem Soleimani,” the United States Department of Defense said in a statement. Minutes before, Trump had tweeted an American flag.
