John Travolta Confuses Taylor Swift with Drag Queen at the MTV Music Awards [VIDEO]

The MTV Music Awards 2019 brought many moments to remember, one of the funniest anecdotes is the mistake made by the “Pulp Fiction” actor, John Travolta during the award of the Best Video of the Year award.

Accompanied by actress Queen Latifah, the 65-year-old actor, presented the award to Taylor Swift for his video clip “You Need to Calm Down.”

The singer took the stage accompanied by several drag queens, including Jade Jolie, 32, who became famous for imitating Taylor Swift and participating in the reality show “RuPaul’s Drag Race”.

The MTV cameras captured how John Travolta with the prize in his hand tries to deliver to Jade Jolie who just smiles, while the actor is confused for a few minutes and then realizes his mistake.

The moment has gone viral on social networks, and Jade Jolie herself shared it on her Instagram account, next to the legend: “I almost received my first prize tonight thanks to John Travolta.”

The video clip competed in the MTV Music Awards 2019, in the categories Best Direction, Art, Video for Good and Video of the year, where it was the winner.

The production was attended by various personalities such as Ellen DeGeneres, Ryan Reynolds, Laverne Cox, Dexter Mayfield, Ciara and Billy Porter, as well as several members of “RuPaul’s Drag Race”.

The central theme revolved around the law of equality for the LGBT community and as a final surprise I include the participation of Katy Perry and Taylor Swift dressed as hamburger and fries respectively, ending their distance of several years.
