Almost two months after the unfortunate event, the grave where the remains of Kobe and ‘Gigi’ Bryant, located in the Pacific View Memorial Park in Corona del Mar in California, was vandalized by a man whose identity remains undisclosed, however, he is under arrest for the acts committed.
The place dedicated to protecting the remains of the NBA great and his daughter has a small door to enter and is decorated with hundreds of flowers, both natural and artificial, that surround the tombstones.
It is believed that the person who entered the space skipped the door and then plucked the flowers around Kobe Bryant’s tombstone and started digging.
Although Kobe and Gigi passed away on January 26, it was not until almost a month later, on February 24 (02/24/20), that the funeral was held, this is because Kobe’s widow wanted it to be a special date.
So far, no further information has been released about the detainee, however, a couple of weeks ago, information came to light where it was said that Vanessa Bryant, Kobe’s widow, would initiate a legal trial against the company of the helicopter in which her daughter and husband died, since the pilot did not follow the appropriate measures to fly, thus causing the terrible accident.
