The young star of FC Barcelona has had his left knee operated this morning and will be away from the pitch for four months.
In a game against Real Betis, Ansu Fati was injured. One of the fittest men in the Barça club has had to undergo surgery. Now, a few months of rest and recovery await the young Barça star.
If everything evolves satisfactorily, we will see Fati again at the beginning of March.
To date, the young Barça forward has accumulated 10 games: 7 in the League and 3 in the Champions League. In total Ansu has played about 600 minutes this season, in which he has managed to score five goals and distribute two assists.
This is certainly bad news for Ronald Koeman. The Dutch coach loses one of the footballers who have started the season the best. Barcelona will miss the presence of Fati.
Here are the games that Ansu Fati will miss:
– Ansu Fati will not reappear until Day 26. League (J.10) Atlético de Madrid-Barcelona
– Ansu Fati would return in the quarterfinals of the Champions League. He would lose the three remaining matches of the group stage (Ferencvaros, Dynamo Kiev and Juventus) and the more than confirmed Round of 16.
– Ansu Fati would miss almost the entire Copa del Rey. The young Barcelona striker would reach a hypothetical Cup final.
-Ansu Fati will miss the entire Spanish Super Cup.
